LYRICS:
Hope...Never Let Me Down
© Deb Rempel and Dan Simmons, lyrics. Dan Simmons, music

(Verse One)
Hope was all that led me
Through my darkest night.
It seemed a tiny candle –
Such a fragile light.
Though my senses told me
That I believed in vain
I held to hope so tightly
‘Til the dawn of day, and,

(Chorus)
Hope... never let me down
It led me through the pain
It whispered, “God is faithful”
Hope pierced the dark and found
The faith that God still reigns,
The trust that He is able –
And though at first I could not see
When morning broke it proved to me
That hope...never let me down

(Verse Two)
As the night turned darker
Hope grew strong and bright,
Burning out my weakness,
Leaving more of Christ
As it foretold the glory
That only hope could see
When all of night is swallowed up
Eternally

(Chorus)

(Bridge )
All my faith
All through my life
And all my hope
Is found in Christ.
I shall see the glory of the Lord
Yes I shall see all I’m hoping for

(Chorus)
